One of the oldest churches in the southwest, San Agustin Church was begun in 1866 and consecrated in 1872. Located in historic downtown Laredo, the church was a hub of community life during the early years of the town. The Gothic Revival-style church has a 141-foot tall tower and many beautiful Gothic-style stained glass windows.
